Located near one of the most well known and beloved sightseeing spots in Lisboa, the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara (check the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara article), La Paparrucha discreetly welcomes you on your way to Principe Real. And why should you stop there when Principe Real has so much to offer?
First of all, because no place in Lisbon has such delicious meat. La Paparrucha is an Argentinian restaurant and the emphasis is definitely set on the typical grilled meats in the Parrilla. That doesn’t mean, however, that the restaurant’s efforts stop there: the menu also has grilled fish, pasta, salads and some mean Argentinian pies as an entrée that I definitely recommend you try.
I do have to warn you: while the food is undoubtedly delicious, some may consider it a bit over the usual price you get in restaurants in Lisboa. But here comes the other wonderful part about La Paparrucha: you’re not just paying to get served tasty food in a restaurant with good and kind service, but to enjoy one of the most beautiful views Lisboa has to offer – all in the same package. I particularly recommend that you have a glass of wine on the outside patio – even if you don’t get to enjoy a meal there, you can still enjoy a drink. The view is worth it!
It may well not be a restaurant for everyday, but it most definitely worth the try for a special occasion.
