Having digital cameras and thinking analog nowadays sounds a bit strange. But it actually isn’t! Many people discovered the beauty of lomography. So did I a few years ago. It became a hobby and plastic camera became my toys. I started with my Supersampler and Holga cameras and ever since I am totally addicted to lomography!
Shooting on film is wonderful. Being a professional photographer, I can break all the rules of photography and do experiments with light, colors and motives. I am also a proud member of the lomo society. It is not big but, believe it or not, it also exist in Slovenia. We are always happy to meet international lomo users.
About two years ago our lomo crew of three enthusiasts organized the first lomo meeting in Slovenia. Simona, Sunčan and I named it LOMOnada (it comes from the word lemonade – like a LOMOnade) – clever, huh? Since then we’ve organized different events and exhibitions. We used to hang out at Brooklyn Cafe but it was closed recently so our new spot became Bi Ko Fe (check the Bi Fo Ke article).
If you want to meet Slovenian lomo fans, hang out with us, share your photos with us or get information about where in Ljubljana you can find old-school films, you are very welcome to send us an email at: email@example.com or join the LOMOnada facebook group! We would love to meet you! With lomolove from the Slovenian lomographers!
