Saturday afternoon, around 16:00. I was meeting an old friend of mine whom I hadn’t seen for 3 years and we hadn’t really planned to go anywhere in particular. So, we decided to take a walk and let the path take its course. We ended up taking a stroll through a surprisingly even more astonishing old town than what I’m used to. I’m sure the colourful autumn scenery and unusually warm weather had something to do with it.
We risked it and took a spontaneous left turn. Best decision of the day. The sun-enveloped bar FLO seemed like the perfect choice. We sat down, ordered 2 espressos and a pack of smokes. No kidding: time stopped for a second or two and a dose of gratefulness kicked in. Half an hour of sitting there was enough to be thankful for the small moments.
When the weather isn’t so forgiving, I’d recommend you take a look inside. It has a charm on its own.
