Remember when I was talking about a place called FLO (check my article)? Well, this spot was a result of one of those turns we spontaneously took on our way there. The square starts with a fountain and like a funnel ends up pouring into the narrow streets of Prule district and finally Ljubljanica river.
I’ve never seen a place with such charisma before. It was like the feel of a typical Dutch old town mixed into Palermo’s charm and with some Slavic temperament finishing the job of making a fantastic seventh impression. All the times I’d walked past it before it had never pulled me in enough to stop for a moment and capture its essence like that day.
Its corridor was surprisingly empty. It was a warm October day and the wind was slowly getting into its breezy momentum. A few of the passing tourists had a lucky break at discovering a new city on their list. Some of them even stopped and joined me for a celebration of their new findings.
