Imagine an abandoned 800 square meter big office in a former tobacco factory in the middle of Ljubljana. The space on the first floor was transformed into a big cosy coworking space. Poligon creative centre is a perfect place where I usually meet and connect to people from various backgrounds and work with them. It opened its doors at the end of February and since then has hosted numerous creative people as well as interesting lectures and a special programme of events for Poligon Residents and Friends to help them increase their knowledge and skills and help them further develop as professionals.
Poligon is more than just a coworking space with a community which shares space and equipment. It is actually a training ground for creative communities and self-employed operating in the field of creative economies, social entrepreneurship and culture. A membership at Poligon offers daily, multi-day and monthly membership passes, which provides access to all its infrastructure.
I had a great opportunity to meet the team and they all are very inspiring people. They follow the mission to stimulate coworking concepts and establish contact between people who have creative ideas and supporters who have opportunity to realize those ideas.
There is also a very nice Relaxation Corner where I like to relax and have a Slovenian coffee at Poligon bar. You can also borrow and read various books from their library. And don’t miss a big chalk board on the left when you enter the place. It is really cool!
