I can remember like it was yesterday evening. There was this girl I met on Tinder and charmed her just enough for her to accept my movie invitation. After the cinema the night was still young, so we decided not to end it at that point. We still had some getting-to-know-each-other in front of us. Paths kind of led to this narrow street. I’m still not sure how we ended up at that place, but I am convinced that she put the words into my mouth. We stepped into this charming-looking place. Pat (as we’ll call her) seemed to know where to find the best spot to have a late-night chit-chat. Me not so much. This whole fancy-poshy scene still remains a mystery to me today.
Eventually, the dark wine, poured by the sophisticated waiter’s touch, fulfilled its purpose. Two months later we were dating. Half a year later we were ex-partners. Now we are friends.
Nevertheless, the bar remained in the pleasant memories part of the brain.
Just remember – the night gets invincible powers when fueled with dark violet liquors in a softly lit atmosphere.
