About me
Raised in a town by the coast in alternately wet and sunny South Dorset, I left the sand, sea and cow manure to come to London in 2002 to pursue fortune in the UK film industry.

Many years of working on camera crews followed, on large and small productions for the small and silver screen. I’ve met a lot of talented people, got up very early, gone to bed very late, found the M1 motorway to be very beautiful while driving to location at sunrise, and made an awful lot of tea and coffee (some of it good, some not so!). I now work in administrative roles in various media companies, and do a spot of writing on the side.

I’ve lived in west and north-west London, but worked all over the place (geographically speaking, rather than an indication of my working methods!). A few years as a PA has meant that I’ve booked a fair few restaurants and events in my time, all the better for recommending spots for you to explore, plus join me on my never-ending search for more places that serve great coffee.

Why London?
As my good friend Hugo has always said, “It’s all about the people, dude!”.

With so many people from so many countries and cultures, the world has come to our door, it’s more cosmopolitan than Paris or New York, so get over here and mix it up a little.
