This is my favourite cheap and cheerful Italian in central London. The place is always bustling and while it may appear to be a cheesy Italian trattoria, this place is the real deal. All the staff are Italian and the food is simple, fresh and super tasty. I always go for the pastas. The best thing is that if you can’t decide between two pastas you can have both! They are happy to do half portions of two pastas for the price of one full dish. Only about £ 9. Bargain! I usually get Spaghetti ai Brocolli and Penne alla Siciliana. A piano player accompanies your meal in the evenings every night of the week.
I recommend booking, otherwise you will probably have to wait for a bit.
It’s located on the sweet Lamb’s Conduit Street, which is a nice to stroll down during the day when the shops are open.
They have heat lamps outside so you can eat outside if you so desire, even in the winter!
