About me?
I’m a 26-year old aspiring writer originally from Perth, Western Australia. I left Perth in July 2005 to go traveling through Europe, before moving to London. However as winter approached, I moved into a one bedroom flat with no windows above a budget supermarket and a makeshift firework store in an area well known for crime! Needless to say, this wasn’t exactly the London experience I had envisaged!
However a few years on, I’m now living in a house (with windows!) and can say my views of London have dramatically improved, as this distinctively unique city has become impossible to leave
Why London?
- Its diversity- There are so many different areas all with varying cultures, food and atmosphere, therefore just by going to another part of London you feel like your visiting a new city altogether.
- Sites – Everything from strolling along the South Bank and seeing a show in the West End, to visiting Camden or soaking up the atmosphere of edgy East London.
- Food – London’s cultural diversity is mirrored by the amount of international cuisine available. London has some of the best restaurants and fresh food markets, therefore, it’s all about knowing where to go.
- Nightlife – With a pub seemingly on every street corner, it would almost be impossible to visit every bar/club and pub in London. The only problem is… where do you start?
