Located on the bank of the Thames near Chiswick, this small pub is a perfect spot to relax by the riverside. My husband and I frequent this area a lot as it offers a quaint distraction from our busy workdays to wind down over a hot meal and cold drinks. There are a few pubs spotted amongst this narrow pathway but The Bell & Crown happens to be a favorite spot to sit outdoors. The food isn’t fussy, serving traditional British cuisine made with fresh produce of the season.
The main attraction though is the outdoor setting with the picnic-style seating to provide a welcoming atmosphere for passers-by. And if the weather’s not so nice, the small conservatory inside provides a cozy vibe while still offering a lovely view of the river. Afterwards, make sure to take a stroll down the walking path where you’ll see many cute (and expensive) houses along the river. Careful though – during heavy storms the path can sometimes become flooded.
