As we enter the British BBQ season, with every glimpse of sunshine leading to an inevitable BBQ at the end of the day, we turn into a nation of carnivores giving the T-Rex a run for its money. Every couple of weeks over the summer I wake up in need of some kind of veggie detox, craving broccoli and not wanting to see another burger for as long as I live (well 2 weeks at least).
I am very grateful to my vegetarian friend for showing me this little gem of a vegetarian restaurant so I can eat out without feeling so guilty! I’m not often a fan of buffet style restaurants and was so impressed by the fresh produce and wide range of health conscious dishes I may have slightly over-piled my plate!
Saying that, it might be worth doing a lap of the restaurant to see what they have on offer before going for a mountain of food as they do charge you by weighing your plate. I had a pretty loaded plate and a large glass of rosé and my bill came to just under £ 15 so very good value for money too, well worth a visit.
