About Me
Born and raised in sunny Lisbon, Portugal, I have moved to London in early 2005, following my girlfriend’s desire to study theatre.
Some years later we are both together and I’m a successful manager of an acting/modelling agency, and still find time to be a casting director for national and international campaigns and TV series.
I graduated in Geology, studied Journalism, worked as a PA, did six years as a PR Account Executive and became a “spokesman” for Hip Hop Culture in Portugal, putting together a few events.
I’ve been living in South London and Surrey since I arrived, and worked mainly in Surrey until last year, when I landed my current job in the middle of Soho.
I love to lose myself in the city I am living in and left the map behind quite early on. All the spots I will recommend are used by me every time I get a chance. If you are reading this and decide to come to London, chances are you will find me in one of them at some point!
Why London?
Those who really know me back in Portugal were already tired of hearing me say I wanted to live in London by the time I was 35.
I fell in love with it when I first visited back in 1991. I was a teacher accompanying a group of Portuguese children coming over for a Summer Camp, and spent 3 days watching in awe all those famous landmarks I had only seen on telly before.
Since then, I visited London every two years, and my lovegrew so much I decided to leave everything behind and move!
Where can you find me online?
