This is my favorite Korean tofu soup restaurant. I come here all the time. It is located in a small complex on the corner of Vermont and Olympic. The parking may be full, but there’s plenty of parking on the streets, just watch for parking signs.
The Korean spicy tofu soup is delicious. I’ve had each combination type. They have pork, beef, fish, oysters, spicy kimchi, among various combinations. Korean spicy tofu is made with tofu, vegetables, sometimes mushrooms, onion, seafood (commonly oysters, mussels, clams and shrimp), meat (commonly beef or pork), and chili paste or chili powder. One of my favorite side dishes is to eat it with BBQ squid. It is a combination soup with extra, around $ 16.
Beverly Soon Tofu make all their appetizers themselves. We’ve asked. That sweet potato is really good. My friend likes the sweet cucumbers.
Be sure to get there early, night time folks will flock here after partying and drinking. There’s lots of diverse people who come here now. Sign up on the sheet to get called for service. Very busy during dinner and lunch hours, also early club nights!
The manager lady Monica is nice but very busy. Might teach you some Korean words.

If you are there on the weekends, be sure to sign your name on the waiting list.
