Eat.Drink.Americano is a great spot if you are looking for delicious artisan lunch or dinner. The dimly lit restaurant with its industrial & vintage interior is exceptional and has a very cozy atmosphere.
They feature new American Cuisine, which LA has become so well known for: locally sourced produce, rustic breads you normally find in Europe, charcuterie specialties, a variety of cheeses and also domestic wine and craft beers.
For lunch I favor the Premium Baguette Half: if you are a vegetarian they offer for example their flatbread “Popeye & Olive Oil” with spinach, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, pesto and caramelized onions. If you favor meat then the BBQ pulled pork on-a-bun topped with coleslaw might delight you. Also try their soups, they vary daily.
The dinner menu is more extensive, but here and there you can even find the same item which they also offer during lunch hours.
My favorites so far were the Mixed Beet Salad, Mushrooms with Egg and also the Classic Ceviche is delicious. But if you are more daring, then try the Braised Oxtail Sliders with juicy mayo.
Don’t miss taking a stroll through the streets while you are in the area and enjoy some beautiful local stores, boutiques and galleries.
