Ganz is almost hidden in a corner but it is a vibrant restaurant that will not disappoint. It has become one of my favorite spots, and not just for the food. The owner has a small art gallery in the basement to make it even more interesting.
What I love about this restaurant is that it can be perfect for different occasions. It is cozy and romantic for the perfect date and it is casual and fun for a dinner with your best friends. It also offers wonderful food for your casual or business lunch and it can be the perfect place to start the night with a couple of drinks.
Ganz means “everything” in German and the place looks like a French bistro. The menu offers international options, and the decoration has a vintage vibe that makes it cool and hip. It is totally price friendly because the quality of the food is excellent. M
y favorites from the menu include fried artichokes and the burrata with truffle oil, but that does not include desserts because it’s not possible to choose just one. I say try them all.
Do not forget to try their wine selection and beware that all the bread they serve is delicious. So trust me, whatever your plans are, include this spot in your route of favorites in Madrid.
