Filling the much needed void of spicy, Thai AND take-out food, Ginger Boy is an excellent new dining choice in Madrid. Located just off the charming Plaza Olavide (see the Plaza Olavide article), Ginger Boy has a small bar area to eat in-store, but they deliver to a wide area of central Madrid for free or € 2.95 if you’re out of their regular delivery range. It’s also perfect for eating in one of the nearby parks if the weather is nice.
I really like the Pad Thai which is slightly spicy, and the coconutty Mussulman curry. Beware of the number of chili peppers next to the dishes on the menu, when they say hot, they mean HOT! They also have an amazing lamb burger, which I’m not sure is Thai, but it is amazing. They took it off the menu for a while and put it back on by popular demand.

I just loved it!!! We “guiris” in Madrid could sometimes long for something else than the normal spanish food (that is ok), and Ginger Boy gaved me a full week of new dishies…I´m just getting hungry thinking of it again. Superb!!!!
