Do you remember those American-type diners from the movies? Where they serve huge hamburgers, huge french fries and huge beverages to go? That’s the first thing you think when visiting Goiko Grill, although everything is actually at a smaller scale and, of course, you can actually sit comfortably and have your meal.
Their hamburgers are simply the best. And they are exotic too. For example, “Chipotle” if you like guacamole; “Aita” if you prefer piquillo peppers and truffle oil, or maybe you want the “Elvis” burger and have it with peanut butter. These are not seen anywhere else in Madrid, and that’s reason enough to come here and try them all. “Camburger”, my favorite, is prepared with fried banana, grilled goat cheese and Santa Teresa rum sauce. Right? You must try it.
Be hungry and ready to eat a lot here. Hamburgers are their specialty, but they have other options too. Including some appetizers typically from Venezuela that I cannot recommend enough. Delivery service is available, just in case you prefer to stay at home. Prices are totally friendly.
Goiko Grill has been so successful with their hamburgers that many other restaurants have opened their doors very recently in Madrid, and that is another reason to come and try for yourself what the fuss is all about. The original place at María de Molina was closed only to reopen a few doors down in the same street. A bigger restaurant is now available, but the essence is the same.
