If you need your fill of tasty burgers and sandwiches with specialties like really spicy chipotle pepper chicken or a tandoori-spiced burger all made from organic meats, this is your place. Owned by a French Canadian Chef who has made Madrid his home, the upscale diner-themed restaurant has gained popularity as it’s the only place in Madrid to get an organic beef burger. It’s absolutely necessary to have a reservation to eat there most nights of the week. In good news however, they offer take-out and they’ve opened two other branches in the city center. Don’t miss the variety of homemade desserts. Details about this spot (Show on map)

Hi Natan,
Thanks for your comment. I find that most cooks in Spain don’t have a handle on the rare to well done scale of cooking burgers. My boyfriend says that “Al punto” means dark on the outside and pink in the middle, but I think it means whatever the chef thinks is best because it’s always different. Regarding service, I’m sorry you had a bad experience – I can’t remember EVER receiving the bill without asking here!
I’ve passed along your comment to the owners of Home to hopefully take note of. Bad service is never acceptable.
Hmmm – well for one thing they asked us how we wanted our burgers done, we told them, which the cooks promptly ignored.
As soon as our plates were taken, and we still had 1/2 a beer left the bill magically appeared.
The food was OK, the service terrible – not going to be repeating it…
AWESOME burgers! An inventive take on the average burger and quite delicious.
