Walking through the door is a bit like stepping into a fairytale – sparkling lights, chairs shaped like toadstools, trees sprouting out of the middle of tables, even a unicorn popping its head out of an alcove.
I love the atmosphere here. It’s relaxing and intimate, but there’s always an accompanying hubbub of voices. Frequented by students from the nearby university, this place is always busy, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes for a table (especially if you arrive after 19:00).
It’s the perfect place to go with friends, or on a date, late afternoon for coffee and cake, or in the evening for cocktails. The menu in this place is impressive: from coffees, teas and smoothies, to cakes and desserts, to delicious cocktails, you’ll probably spend about half an hour trying to choose what you want (and inevitably end up going back to try whatever it was you didn’t have the first time).
Being a cheesecake fan myself, I almost always go for that, but my advice is (to make choosing easier): go with a group of friends, because that way you can try a bit of everyone’s!
