Because of the huge variety of restaurants in this city it can be a real big challenge to decide what you’re in the mood for when picking your next chow down-place. Since this happens to me quite a lot I’m really happy that La Mucca exists.
If you are in the mood for something more homecooked they have a great lasagne. You want something light ’cause you have been going crazy with the great food that is at hand in Madrid, they have terrific salads or if you don’t really care about that they have delicious stone oven baked pizzas. If you feel like a more spicy alternative I always go for the nachos and end up eating the jalapeños like they were bar-snacks instead.
La Mucca is divided in 2 parts, the bar which you enter when you walk through the door and a bottom part for the people that want to sit down at a table and have more of a restaurant feeling. You can eat your food at the bar if you feel like it as well. Or if the sun is shining you might want to try and sit outside on their terrace.
The diversity of this place is something that keeps me coming back a couple of times a week and since the prices are so competitive that probably won’t change anytime soon.
