This ice cream parlor/cafeteria is a fun and friendly shop in the Chueca district special for ice cream lovers. They also have yummy things like yogurt, fruit juices, waffles, muffins, milkshakes, and different kinds of coffee and tea for your daily breakfast. But what you really want to try is the handcrafted, artisan, and customized ice cream they are known for. This is what they do with flavors and toppings: after you order what you want for each, they mix them both using a frozen table right there in front of you, making it the best customized and creamy ice cream ever. Think about chocolate fudge ice cream with chocolate chips on top. But it’s not on top, it’s mixed within the ice cream. Vanilla, hazelnut or mango can be mixed with toppings like brownies, peanuts, pistachio or fruits. My new season favorite is mango ice cream with coconut.
Everything at Mistura has been recycled, the shop is totally eco-friendly, and the products they use are organic, including the milk and fruits. Ice cream is also produced by them, at a different parlor, using a traditional technique they learned in India. The take-away service is what most people use and delivery service has been introduced recently too. To say that these are the best ice creams in Madrid is an understatement, so you would have to come and try them, all of them, yourself.
