Every Sunday at Rastro de Madrid (Flea Market), I follow the same route. Turn on Calle Embajadores to the left of Cascorro square and turn left again on Glorieta Embajadores by CSAO La Tabacalera. Why do I do that? Easy, to keep track of any changes at the walls on Calle Miguel Servet.
There were 24 international and national artists who participated in this massive wall decoration. The theme chosen for the 2016 edition was Urban Natures, and I can see how every artist has introduced something related to mother Earth in his/her artwork.
My favorite ones are the ones created by Okudart and Nuria Toll. The performance by Okudart receives the name “Love wins for my cat” and some American people say that they observe the colors of their flag in the wall. The second one uses a quote that British people may have heard before “It’s a jungle in here”. Why jungle? The reason why that statement was used was because of the multiculturalism that exists at La Tabacalera.
