Okuda San Miguel is my favourite Spanish artist of the moment. He has created his artwork all over the world and has recently edited a book in which he explains his love for street art. I love street art!
As I walk down Calle Embajadores from La Latina square, I observe this painting covering two walls and representing two faces: the two sides of the world. It is a contrast between a natural and urban lifestyle. How do our traditions share ideas with the modern world and social media?
He represents a colorful world with geometric figures and shapes. One of his most challenging murals/exhibitions was painting a whole church in Gijón for the “La Iglesa skate” project. I was amazed the first time I saw the truck art project taking to the roads all over Spain.
Don’t miss the opportunity to continue learning about the Street Art on Calle Embajadores, as it’s full of creativity. Keep on reading here.
