Railway museum – Back to the future

Not that many people know the different museums that exist in Madrid besides Reina Sofia and El Prado museum. That’s why today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite spots where I go to draw and write about all my stuff.

The railway museum offers a unique opportunity to its visitors to jump in one of the former trains that were used in the Spanish train system during the 19th and 20th century.

I always stare at the old-fashioned clocks and imagine all the stories that those electric, steam and diesel wagons might have seen, then I start drawing. I think I should publish all those drawings one day, but on the meantime I will just share my thoughts with all of you through Spotted by Locals.

It is a short walk from the nearest cercanias station. Let me tell you that you will visit a gem if you come to Museo del Ferrocarril.
