I love going shopping in the Northern Quarter and there are plenty of unusual shops to choose from if you’re looking for fashion that nobody else has. One of my favourite stores to browse at is Blue Rinse Vintage at the very bottom of Oldham Street.
The Leeds-based store has been selling vintage and reworked items since 1997 and has one of the largest selections in the UK. I sometimes find that vintage clothing can be really expensive, but Blue Rinse is bursting at the seams with reasonably priced fashion and I always find myself in the changing room armed with enough to clothe a small army.
Blue Rinse also hosts regular weekend kilo sales in the Sachs Hotel next door, so you can take your pick of skirts, dresses, shirts, trousers, coats, jumpers and accessories and pay just £ 15 per kilogram. Who said looking good has to be expensive?
