I discovered this little cafe while mooching though Withington’s many charity shops. In fact I tried to go in before they where even opened.
The brainchild of two friends, Gina & Whitney decided the area needed an art cafe, and with the help of a crowd funding campaign the project launched in April 2016 under the name Boho Utopia.
Furnished with finds from the aforementioned local charity shops, the cafe is warm and welcoming. The walls covered with the names of the community that helped make it a reality. There is a wide collection of board games to be be played, and crafts from local artists hang on the wall. The upstairs is a super relaxing space with bean bags, fairy lights and sparkle.
The cafe plays host to a number of events and workshops, tie-dye, meditation and mendi to name a few.
It’s a new and exiting space with warm, youthful D.I.Y. ethos and exciting energy.
