I have to pass Changos every day on my way home from work, and let me tell you it’s always a challenge to resist popping in. More often than not it’s a challenge I fail. There’s something just that little bit more exciting about watching your food being prepared in front of you and getting to pick which ingredients you want piled high into a wrap.
I’m not convinced about its authenticity but Changos definitely hits the spot for a quick lunch or the nights when you can’t face cooking. For the meat eaters there’s a choice of chicken, beef and pork while the vegetarians and vegans can go for a delicious veggie and bean mix. Then to finish it off you can pack your burrito full of cheese, nachos, salsa and guacamole. The more the better I say!
Just don’t be fooled by the innocent-sounding lime and mango sauce – it’s actually really spicy and I learned the hard way that it will take your face clean off.
