Público is a shared workplace and a restaurant with a very modern vibe. Hanging lanterns and organic decoration create a cozy space where the food is amazing.
Inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine, chef Pablo Salas creates dishes that for me, are incredible due to the high quality of the ingredients they use. Most of the food offered in Público is prepared on-site, including fresh bread and exquisite salad dressings.
Ideal for both breakfast and lunch, Público offers a wide variety of food, ranging from ham and cheese sandwiches, meatballs with chipotle sauce, chile relleno (it’s a chili pepper stuffed with cheese and corn paste tamales), chilaquiles (a Mexican classic of fried tortilla, chili sauce and a protein, like chicken or beef) mango mousse, among other delicious options that include vegetarian friendly picks.
The food prices may look a bit expensive for a quick dining restaurant where you order your food directly in the bar, pay and have it served when you take a seat, but finding great taste, fresh ingredients and an incredibly good service, make it really worthwhile.
In my opinion, Público is a really innovative proposal, in which work and really good food share the same space in order to deliver a unique experience every time.
