About me:
Born in a coastal Australian city, Wollongong, I now call Milan my home. I came here on a quest to see more of Europe. A 24 hour flight to Europe from Australia every holiday wasn’t quite feasible! The idea of being able to fly off to another European city for a weekend was much more appealing and so I have been creating a home for myself here. I love the diversity of Europe in comparison to the somewhat isolated island of Australia.
One of the exciting things about travelling is trying to see how locals live and in particular, eating like the locals. Food is a big passion for me!
Milan is a melting pot of Italians from every region and for people all around the world. It doesn’t shout at you with it’s beauty like some other cities, but with time it opens up to show you lots of little jewels.
I am your normal professional city dweller, teaching English to employees of a large Italian company. I enjoy spending time with friends at a local bar for a drink, seeking out good value restaurants or enjoying some live music. I love cooking and I’m always on the look out for something new. My musical preferences vary from British rock to electronic to soul.
