Buongusto in Italian means “Good taste”. Speaking of this little restaurant, of course it refers to food (in particular to pasta).
One of my favorite dishes ever, is hand made stuffed pasta. Every time I come back from a trip abroad the first thing I wish to have, once I’m at home, are ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese (also called “ravioli di magro”).
When I first discovered, this little “pasta restaurant”, through a friend, I just loved it.
They serve different kind of hand made fresh pasta, also stuffed with several ingredients (spinach, pumpkins, ham, artichokes..etc). You can even choose your favorite sauce.
My favorite choices are: Pumpkin Ravioli: “Ravioli di Zucca” (the traditional recipe has a bit of almond inside the stuffing, a peculiar contrast with the savory of the pasta and the sauce) with extra virgin olive oil and Parmesan cheese or “Ravioli di Magro” with butter and sage sauce.
While you are waiting for the pasta, you can order a selection of delicious mini quiches. The bread and bread-sticks (included in the service) are delicious and the wine selection is adequate.
I must admit that the prices are rather high, but once in a while that’s ok.
