Kusmi tea – Russian tea

The French tea producing company, Kusmi Tea has got a shop in one of the best areas in the city for aperitif and dinner time: Brera, very close for example to the Pinacoteca di Brera, a museum of international importance.

Inside I’ve tried many kinds of Russian teas with the aid of an agent, who helped me out by choosing the one that really suited me, from a wide collection produced by the French company since 1867. The price of course is higher than what you normally pay for tea but, depending on the kind you choose, it will be totally worth it. For me it totally was, having chosen the Boost quality: a mix of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, various spices and mate: the widely diffused south American herb that is famous for alleviating mental and physical disease.

Hot tea of different varieties is served every half an hour to the customers who are inside the shop. If you go in, probably attracted by the colourful furniture and tea cans or maybe convinced by these few lines, you will have the opportunity to smell every variety sold here, all accompanied by good relaxing music and the suggestions of the courteous employees, if needed. It’s definitely a good break from the strongly Italian surroundings that often let me have 10 pleasant minutes.
