It is a typical Swedish bar, colourfully and simply decorated. Until recently it used to be my favorite place to go when I had a short break at university because the food is varied and fresh, not to mention the owner who’s nice, young and friendly. The owner is really young and involved in many interesting activities in the city so it’s definitely worth asking him what’s currently going on in the city in terms of interesting activities to do.
They serve tasty sandwiches and rolls but also Chinese, Indian and Moroccan teas and infusions. But what this place is most famous for, among me and my friends, is the cakes and lattes. The former are delicious artisan and sweet desserts that go from muffins to cookies, but also standard cakes. My favorite? The carrot cake, made with carrots, of course, almond and a smidge of cinnamon. The latter are cremes, made with different aromas and milk; they all present a topping with a different ingredient to better suit the aromas beneath it.
The environment is lively and if you happen to pass by between 10:00 and 17:00, you’ll certainly meet students and international young people keen on tasting some delicious cake and giving you some advice on where to hang out during your stay.
