Typical Italian Caffè, that is one way to describe Caffè San Simeon. You will notice that there are plenty of Cafés in Montréal offering a delicious selection of coffees. Caffè San Simeon is located in Montréal’s Little Italy and therefore attracts a local Italian crowd. There is always a good reason to stop by Caffè San Simeon but I must say that in the morning around nine, you get to see all of the locals meet up for a morning coffee and chit chat before heading off to work or simply start their day.
They have a nice patio and a few benches along the Caffè. Their coffee is exactly what you would expect from an Italian Caffè and on top of that, they offer this small croissant filled with almond paste. For five dollars, you can treat yourself to a café latté and a croissant. The barista knows what he is doing and is always happy to add some creativity into your coffee.
FYI: They only accept cash (there is an ATM on site), which speeds up the process.
