Else’s Bar – Just a bite

Else’s Bar is your local neighbourhood joint where you will be served food till late at night. It was named after a Norwegian woman who came to Montreal some years ago. This spot is particularly interesting for its amazing scotch selection, hot toddies and vegetarian options. Great combination right? The only thing that you need to remember is that you must eat in order to be served alcohol. My personal favourite are the quinoa burgers!

Else’s has a few board games and great music playing all day long. They also have a happy hour where they offer two drinks for $ 10 (simple cocktails). The crowd is a mix of locals, artists and students. If you know your Indie bands, well you might just come across a few band members. Else’s Bar does not have a terrace but a wall of windows, which opens up on sunny days. When you take the time to visit this spot on a regular basis you’ll see the beautiful flowers they put on the windowsill blossom!

FYI: You should bring cash with you, they also take debit and there is an ATM machine in the entrance.
