Located in Montreal’s Little Italy neighborhood, this local spot offers, simply put, the best pizza in town. The only issue is that there isn’t one in every neighborhood!
The menu offers a short list of entrees with many do-not-miss items (order many and share!) such as the fried calamari, octopus salad, fried croquettes with veal and prosciutto as well as the popular Jean-Talon Market salad comprised of seasonal ingredients picked up at the nearby food market.
The diverse lineup of pizzas has something to please everyone with classic as well as creative toppings. I have tried many but my personal favorite is the Hawaiian pizza with homemade smoked maple ham, oven-roasted pineapple and mozzarella di bufala. The crust is a great combination of chewy and crispy. They also have additional pizza choices up on the chalk board including the “Pizza of the Month” which I had the pleasure of tasting in May with garlic cream, shrimps, marinated white asparagus, p’tit basque cheese and parsley.
To end the meal, don’t forget to leave some room for their amazing homemade frozen custard with many crunchy and chocolaty toppings to pick from.
This is a great place to come with family or friends any day of the week. With its unpretentious atmosphere and friendly staff, it’s a sure bet. If you don’t have time to sit, they have a small window on the side of the establishment where you can order your favorite pizza to go! Bon appetit!
