On the weekends I often find myself with an urge to do something creative. I am also someone who enjoys sitting in a cafe and Le Ceramic Cafe studio allows me to do just that.
It’s a little two-storey place on Saint Denis where you can go for a few hours and paint one of the many ceramics they have available. They range from little figurines to cups to large dishes and from simple and sleek to fun and original.
When you get there, someone will have a table prepared for you while you go to the second story to pick out your ceramic. You can take as much time as you want so make sure you go around all the shelves to find your perfect match. Each ceramic has its own price so there’s something for every budget.
Once you’re all set, a member of the staff will explain how everything works regarding all the tools you have at your disposal. After that the the sky is the limit! The amount you pay once you’re done will depend on how long you stayed for.
At any moment you can also order food, and they have both savoury and sweet options. Because the ceramics need to be baked, you will have to come back 7-10 days later to pick them up so this activity is best left for anyone who is visiting for a relatively long time.
