Papeterie nota bene* is a beautiful stationery shop in the heart of Montreal. While it’s easy to just walk by, you should have a look inside as the shop is very beautiful. They promote their shop as a place of contemporary European stationery and that is what you will find: anything from pencils to notebooks to desk gadgets. Upstairs, you will find a select book offer regarding graphic design, fashion, and anything related. The upstairs level also gives a nice view of the first floor of the shop.
The spot has a nice atmosphere and you will often find people hanging around before buying what they need. If you are looking for a notebook or diary for your travels, you might find it right here. I bought wooden pencil holders and a nice sketchbook which I turned into a travel album.
They have a counter where they keep their nice books and paper collection, so you might need to ask for help if you are looking for something in particular.
