I actually stumbled upon Manitoba while exploring the Mile-Ex, which could be quite difficult to accomplish as it is at the end of St-Zotique O. out of people’s sight. At my first visit, I was offered a coffee and a chance to look at the beautifully designed locale. During my second visit at night time, I got to discover the philosophy behind Manitoba as it was reflected on the menu as well as in the wooden decor and the charming personnel. I tasted some of Mother Nature’s best Canadian secrets. On my third visit, the back doors were opened leading to an outside terrace where people could sit while sipping on their nightcaps and enjoying the outdoors and remaining a part of the enchantment.
As plates are prepared according to the seasonal offer I was lucky enough to be surprised by some real local Canadian delicacies such as seal, lobster, snow crab, venison and Quebec’s most delicious asparagus. The wine card is mostly composed of private importations, giving you the opportunity to try out some exquisite products. I love this local spot not only for its flavors but also for the crowd.
Tip: If you are vegetarian you have not to fear dining out at Manitoba.
