When visiting Montreal in the winter, you might encounter one of those grey and cold days. Walking in the underground tunnel is an option to kill some time but not necessarily super relaxing or exciting. On those days, I decide to treat myself to some me-time and head over to Scandinave Spa.
The first thing you must know is that it is an indoor spa, but that shouldn’t stop you from considering going to the Scandinave Spa. The way the spa is configured gives you the opportunity to fully concentrate on relaxing. The lights are dimmed, the music is nice and everyone must be completely silent. Here are the reasons why I recommend this spa:
1. You will have a real relaxing experience if you follow the hot, cold and relaxing steps.
2. They provide you with flip flops, 2 towels and a robe.
3. They use Oneka (all-natural Quebec made) body products.
4. Water, tea and apples are available for free and best of all, the staff goes around serving some smoothie shots.
The spa accepts reservations and only allows a certain amount of people in each hour. The establishment is extremely clean and designed for Canadian winter (boots and coats).
FYI: Always call ahead of time to reserve.
