This unusual spot appeared in the suburbs recently – I’m talking about salt cave “Veter s Morya” (it means “Wind from the sea”). The salt cave looks like a small room whose walls and the floor are covered in salt crystals. The salt is mined at a depth of 300 meters.

The main goal of this cave is to relax, have some rest, and breathe clean and fresh air. They say that 40 minutes in this cave are equal to 3 days at a sea resort. In my opinion, for residents of Moscow, where there is no sea and there are troubles with the ecological situation, such a cave is an excellent option to have a rest. “Veter s Morya” is advised for those who catch colds often, have insomnia or are just tired of pollution and stress.

For me, the atmosphere in the salt cave “Wind from the sea” is remarkable: cozy plaids, comfortable armchairs, dim lights, quiet music or movies about nature. I regularly visit this cave, and I consider that it is possible to relax and perfectly forget about problems there. By the way, the salt cave reminds me sometimes of a snow cave, because it is totally white with salt everywhere. Before the visit, guests are invited to drink tea or coffee.

There are almost no contraindications to visiting “Veter s Morya” and it is not a medical service, but before your visit, it is worth getting acquainted with their website.
