Pizza Pie – that’s how the pizza in this place is called. Famous Moscow chef Dmitry Zotov – whose professional name is Zotman, by the way – decided to make pizza that way, fluffy like pies. Frankly speaking, only the edge of it is fluffy, and the basement itself is very thin. It’s the American way of making pizza, when you enjoy mostly the filling, juicy and fresh.
Zotman Pizza Pie is located on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street, just in front of the ITAR TASS news agency building. Lately this district has become very popular because of the restaurants and bars, like a fashionable space for creative places. Inside it’s very cozy, but it’s quite small, so it’s better to book a table because there are usually a lot of people here, especially on a weekend. People come here to order their pizza pies for takeaway, some bring their children to spend a lovely evening.
The beer here was something that really surprised me. When me and my friend decided to order some drinks, we believed they were imported. But it was Russian stylish beer from the Urals, quite good, I must say. And we also decided to taste some bruschettas – they are quite tiny here, with exotic fillings, like artichokes, fried bone marrow, and duck hearts pate.
The prices here are above average. So it’s the best choice when people like to indulge themselves with an extraordinary meal.
