This little gem is a fantastic melding of Asian meets Bavarian.
The small menu has an array of offerings, which includes phở bò, spring rolls, salads, dim sum, and other specialties. The pretty pink lanterns lure you in and the food keeps you course after course. The handsome and polite workers don’t hurt in that department either!
In addition to the typical expectations the special dumplings are quite unique and I’d recommend trying the Schweinekrustenbraten with dunkelbiersauce and apfelblaukraut for a Bavarian twist. As Chinese tradition dictates, I suggest ordering at least one more dish than there are people in your group, because you’ll likely want to sample and share.
There are only a handful of tables, so it’s best to call ahead and make reservations. Be aware it’s unfortunately not open on Sundays.
As for the name, Fei Scho sounds a bit Asian, but it’s really Bavarian. Fei is an emphasizing filler word and Scho is short for ‘schon’, meaning “already”.
The best way to get there is by way of the Frauenhoferstraße U-bahn (lines U1 + U2) or tram 27.
Bring an appetite!
