I know how difficult it can be to find a good vegetarian or even vegan burger. Go to Hamburgerei and search no more! And if you’re not searching for a meatless burger, go to Hamburgerei anyway and enjoy one of their creative creations.
Hamburgerei is a modern, and very colourful self-service restaurant. Similar to Ocui you get a device upon ordering, which vibrates when your burger is ready.
All ingredients are regional, seasonal and fresh. The crispy hand made bread comes as a normal Weizensemmel (wheat) or a vegan Dinkelsemmel (spelt). Beef from different Bavarian farms ends up freshly grinded on the lava stone grill and then in 200g portions in classic ham- and cheeseburgers or more creative versions like Der Bayer (with Obatzda (a Bavarian cheese delicacy), coleslaw, radish sprouts, pickles and sweet mustard) or Der Franzose (with goat cheese, fig mustard and apricot).
Take the opportunity to have a great meatless burger and go for Der Trojaner (with halloumi cheese, tzatziki, feta cheese and olives), or the vegan options Der Inder (with mango chutney and banana chips), Der Orientale (Falafel) or a “meatless burger without bread”, which turns out to be falafel with humus and salad.
I also suggest you skip the fries and have some Süsskartoffel (sweet potatoes) Sticks instead.
Thanks to the big tables Hamburgerei is a great place to come with a group of friends and be one of the many young people enjoying their burgers, salads and beers.
