Jacques’ – World of wine

To be honest, I’m not a Sommelier or a gourmet-expert of wine or someone who knows good wine. But I know what I like and I don’t care if it’s red or white. That’s not true, I prefer red wine with a nice label. I wouldn’t dare to buy expensive ones, because surely I will not taste any difference with cheap wine.

Do you know this situation, you are in the supermarket in front of a big wine shelf and you don’t know which wine you should choose. It’s like buying a pig in a poke. Unfortunately in most cases the staff is not trained to tell you something about the wine.

I have to thank god, that I found this wine paradise called Jacques’. Alex and his staff are my wine heroes. He knows all about wines and always recommends the one I like to me and those are still affordable. And the best thing is, you are allowed to taste the wine before buying it. The bad thing is, I get used to good wine and sometimes I leave a small amount of Euros in Jacques’, but it’s worth it.
