“Nudo” means naked and that’s what it is. The interior is minimalist and pure, with a few highlights, like the wooden wall, the concrete and wire lamps hanging from the ceiling. It reminds me a bit of a Berlin style. And so is the menu, very small with a few but very good, fresh and seasonal dishes, e.g. pasta with pumpkin in autumn. But you always get these tasty salads with meat or without. What I like is that you will be informed from which farmer or butcher the meat was bought.
The principle or concept of “Nudo” is clear, the customer should not get distracted from the food. But that’s semi true. I often got distracted by these small and lovely accessories standing or hanging around everywhere. There is always something interesting to discover. For example the people, who come to have fresh noodles or salads or just a glass of the good tasting house wine. Some of them are hipsters or business people or couples, who have a nice evening or having a displeasing discussion about their relationship (sorry they sat very close to me, I could hear every word). But that’s life and you find this real unfiltered life at Nudo’s.
My conclusion: less is more, but more or less it’s a nice place to have good mood food.
