Fraunhoferstraße is a well-known street in Munich. It divides the Gärtnerplatz from the Glockenbachviertel. And in between there is a small Snack Bar (Imbiss in German) called Wicked Flavor. Unfortunately at the moment because of refurbishment works it’s hidden behind a scaffold.
Nevertheless it’s worth visiting. Harry, the owner, will welcome you cheerfully. Follow the delicious smell of freshly prepared food like Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and Corn Dogs (in addition: the menu is changed daily).
Although mostly meat sandwiches are served, some dishes come only with vegetable or fish. It depends on seasonally available ingredients. I recommend Corn Dogs. A kind of Hot Dog but instead of a bun it comes in a fried corn batter. The first time I’ve tasted it in Germany. Dip it in the self made three cheese sauce. Very delicious.
My conclusion: if you did party hard the day before, grab a Philly cheese steak sandwich and the new Munich hangover killer, called “Konterbrause” and you will feel much better soon. Now you can continue celebrating.
