BB King was an unbeatable legend. I consciously can’t say that this spot can stand up to the powerhouse that was BB King however I can comfortably say that you will enjoy not only the food you eat but the experience you’ll have.
Through all the bright lights of Times Square, come through these doors and head into the dimly lit basement of BB Kings. BB Kings has two parts, a grill and the venue restaurant where you can catch a show and have dinner or brunch.
The kind of show you would or could catch depends greatly on what your pleasure is. BB King offers an array of genres of tribute bands as well as comedy, jazz, and everything in between. Check out their Gospel Choir sets and their B.B. KING BLUES CLUB ALL*STARS.
They also feature DJs and soul nights, Rain of Fire Band doing Johnny Cash and naturally Beatles brunch. Whatever kind of music you would love to see magically executed you can find here on their cast schedule.
Surprisingly, the food here is tasty and the staff friendly. Normally you could count on either the show OR the food being good but this spot delivers! Steak, ribs, and mmm Angus beef burgers! And for vegetarians like myself, the salmon is delicious! It is a bit pricey, so get your wallets full!
Lucilles is the grill at the other side of this venue and has free live music every night.
