Good music makes any experience a hell of a lot better. If you need that music injection make your way out to DROM – where your music needs can be fulfilled my friend.
This venue can’t be classified as small by NYC standards, but it is definitely intimate. The stage set up is fantastic. You can stand up way up close and personal, or hang back by the bar or couches to the side. DROM hosts a slew of amazing artists and genres, so you can be sure to find something to sooth your ear taste buds. Jive like a beehive, rock like a croc, or hipster it up with some 80s revival. The local bands that open are always super talented and warm up the crowd, which makes such a great way to get into underground bands.
The beers and drinks are reasonably priced and the area provides good food before or after the show.
Check out their calendar and be ready to not want to leave! (For tips and recommendations of upcoming bands, feel free to leave a comment – I’ll get back to you asap with kick ass advice!).
If you need a great place to get a drink or some food before a show, stop by at the wonderful Wayland just blocks away. Guaranteed to get you in the right mood with its social stirring atmosphere.
