Parson’s School of Design – Free exhibitions

The good thing about being surrounded by so many universities is that you can take advantage of some of the special exhibitions they have to offer.

Parson’s School for Design has become mainstream after Heidi Klum launched her show Project Runway. And as fun as that may seem, that is not all Parsons has to offer. Through their many heads working together in one common goal, the visionaries that teach and learn here at this brilliant school put together some exhibitions that are quite satisfactory.

In the spring Parsons hosts its annual Fashion Benefit and Parsons Festival, celebrating the talent and creativity of our students.

What you can expect are international visions as well as contemporary and controversial topics. Subjects from sculpture to politics are all covered to bring you food for your mind as well as your eyes.

Exhibitions vary in location and price although most events are FREE!! YES!! Go get yourself a free dose of art and inject it right into your inspiration vein!!

If you are still in the fashion mood, check out the info booth on 7th and 39’th for the available sample sales going on and score yourself name brands for wholesale prices!

Or a quick snack at the Shake Shack where you’ll find the local Divas enjoying the park.
