At Godt Brød you can expect two things, delicious organic baked goods and a dozen baby strollers – this is heaven for those on maternity leave.
But if you can handle some baby tears and screams, there’s lots of space at the communal table to grab a seat and a coffee, open your laptop and work away. Oslo lacks those freelance hubs that cafes can be in bigger cities, but this is a great option if you want to get some work done, as space is not only aplenty, there is free Wi-Fi too.
The whole menu is organic, from the juices to the freshly made sandwiches. Personally I always opt for the almond “bolle”, it’s just too delicious to pass up. Give it a try!
When the weather gods are smiling, Godt Brød offers a pleasant backyard, where you’ll be surrounded by flowers, and hopefully a few rays of Scandinavian sun.
The coffee is not the best, but it’s decent and organic, and besides – it’s not really the reason you come here anyways.
